ABOUT

My name is Louise. I was diagnosed with autism in my late forties, and two years later diagnosed with ADHD.

This blog is my journey from late diagnosis, how I navigate the ups and downs of life, and the strategies I use to cope.

I also write about my lifestyle, my life experiences, and raising awareness about neurodiversity.

Autism and ADHD can look different in each person. This is one way they can present.

My aim is to promote understanding of neurodiversity, share my personal experiences, and encourage inclusive education and employment.

Cozy music practice room essentials

Music room with upright piano, flute on stand, music stands with sheet music, chairs, and bookshelf with music books.

The image shows a cozy music practice room featuring a Yamaha upright piano with sheet music displayed on its stand. In front of the piano, there is a stool and a cushioned armchair. Near the window, two music stands hold open sheets of music, and a flute is positioned on a stand nearby. A wooden bookshelf contains various music books, including a prominently displayed book titled ‘BACH’. The room has wooden paneled walls, a window allowing natural light, a potted plant on the windowsill, and a wooden table with a recorder and case, contributing to an inviting, well-organized atmosphere for music study and practice.
