ABOUT

My name is Louise. I was diagnosed with autism in my late forties, and two years later diagnosed with ADHD.

This blog is my journey from late diagnosis, how I navigate the ups and downs of life, and the strategies I use to cope.

I also write about my lifestyle, my life experiences, and raising awareness about neurodiversity.

Autism and ADHD can look different in each person. This is one way they can present.

My aim is to promote understanding of neurodiversity, share my personal experiences, and encourage inclusive education and employment.

The views expressed are my own, and are not intended to represent any employer or educational institution.

Cozy study and music corner at sunset

Wooden desk with open notebook, lamp, plants, and piano with sheet music in cozy room

The image shows a cozy corner of a room featuring a wooden desk positioned next to a large window overlooking a lush garden at sunset. On the desk are an open notebook filled with handwritten notes, a pen, a warm beverage mug, a glass of water, and small potted plants. A softly glowing table lamp adds a warm ambiance to the scene. To the right, a wooden Yamaha piano is partially visible, with sheet music placed on the music rack and a wooden bench positioned in front. Shelves above the piano hold books, a metronome, and additional plants, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere for study, creativity, and relaxation.
