ABOUT

My name is Louise. I was diagnosed with autism in my late forties, and two years later diagnosed with ADHD.

This blog is my journey from late diagnosis, how I navigate the ups and downs of life, and the strategies I use to cope.

I also write about my lifestyle, my life experiences, and raising awareness about neurodiversity.

Autism and ADHD can look different in each person. This is one way they can present.

My aim is to promote understanding of neurodiversity, share my personal experiences, and encourage inclusive education and employment.

The views expressed are my own, and are not intended to represent any employer or educational institution.

This blog is for reference and education only, and not professional advice. Please consult a specialist for diagnosis or support.

Please like, comment and subscribe. I would love to read your ideas, thoughts and opinions.

Celebrating one year of blogging journey

Laptop screen showing blog anniversary message, open journal with reflections, candle, and coffee mug

The image shows a cozy wooden desk with a laptop displaying a colorful blog anniversary message celebrating one year of creativity and community. An open journal lies in front of the laptop with handwritten reflections on the blogger’s journey, including milestones like starting in October 2023 and building a community. A lit candle, a coffee mug with ‘ONE YEAR DOWN’ printed on it, and several potted plants add warmth and a homely touch to the scene. The setting suggests a calm, reflective workspace filled with natural light from a nearby window and books in the background.
